Dentulu is your all-in-one app for managing your dental office. Today, I’ll show you how to create a Sleep Apnea appointment using Dentulu’s dental office platform. It’s quick and easy, so let’s get started!
Step 1: Watch for email notifications.
Once a patient completes the Sleep Apnea Questionnaire, your dental office will receive an email.

Step 2: Access the patient’s chart.
Click on the [View Patient Submission] link in the email. This will take you directly to the patient’s chart on the Dentulu platform.
Step 3: Start scheduling the appointment.
In the patient’s chart, click on the Schedule New Appointment tile to begin.
Step 4: Select the appointment details.
Choose the doctor or hygienist.
Pick In-office Appointment as the appointment type.
Select Sleep Apnea as the procedure type.
Step 5: Set the visit details.
For Visit Type, choose Initial.
Specify the date and time for the appointment.
Choose the services required.
Enter the consultation price and, optionally, the estimated insurance benefit.
The system will automatically calculate the total cost of the appointment.
Step 6: Confirm the appointment.
Step 7: Review the appointment status.
To review the appointment:
Go to Appointments -> In-office Appointment -> View Details.
Observe the status, which will remain Patient Confirmation Pending if not confirmed by the patient.
