How to set up dental office for salivary testing requests?
Welcome to our step-by-step guide on setting up salivary testing order for your patients. Let's get started!
First, ensure that your office has an Owner provider added and designated as Primary. Navigate to the Dental Providers section and click on the "Make as Primary" button to assign the primary owner.
Once done, click on the Owner dentist's name to navigate to Provider profile management.
Expand the profile information and verify if the Provider has updated their National Provider Identifier (NPI). If not, update it with the valid NPI number.
Additionally, update other details such as language, about, and Affiliated practice address. Don't forget to remind your provider to update their qualifications and other profile information too!
Now, go to the dental office account and click on the pencil icon to view the dental office profile details. Ensure that the address is updated with the correct zip code.
Once you've completed these steps, the setup process is complete! Now you can create a new salivary order on behalf of the patient.
Additionally, you can share the salivary testing URL with your patients, allowing them to place their orders directly.
